This was taken on a camera club field trip onto some private land in Minnesota just outside of La Crescent. It was an awesome view but scary being that close to a very long ways down.

This is a scan of some of the last 35MM film I shot out of my trusty Minolta X-700 that I purchase from the post exchange at Ft McClellan in 1984. The photo is of a train coming in to a passenger depot at the Nene Valley Railway. The NVR is in the UK, based near Peterborough. The NVR's main claim to fame, is that it is the home to Thomas The Tank Engine. http://www.nvr.org.uk/thomas/

This is a boat traveling up the River Nene near Sutton Bridge, about to pass in front of the lighthouse just off West Bank Road. I was standing just below the Peter Scott lighthouse when I took the photo.

This site has been barely holding together for some time. This was the site I learned Drupal on and I made a lot of poor choices early on before I knew what I was doing. I've learned tons since then but haven't had the time to really invest in getting this site redone properly. So I decided I was just going to work on it a bit at a time, when I could. Unfortunately, it didn't take long to discover there were some fundamental problems with the site that I didn't even realize were there because they only showed up when I tried to change things. The more I tried to fix them, the worse things got to the point where the site was just not usable. You can't fix a foundation with a new coat of paint, unfortunately.  Read more »
