With two litle ones, I don't get the luxury of reading for entertainment much or even watching TV. So I'm afraid I'm going to sound like a bit of a broken record with the one show I make time to watch: Doctor Who. Anyone that knows me knows I'm nuts about it. I loved the old show but this new series just blows me away. It constantly keeps me guessing and on the edge of my seat for sure. The writing and the character development is amazing and now it has the special effects to match. I could talk about my favorite show all day but the little ones need me so gotta dash!

I like Stargate at the moment, but I also liked Roswell and x-files.

Oddly enough, I haven't watched any of those. I collected a few seasons of Stargate Atlantis but never got to watching it. Some day I'm going to rent the DVDs of Stargate / SA and watch them all. I've seen a lot of previews and it looks really cool. Roswell sounded vaguley interesting but not enough to ever get me to watch. X-Files I've seen the odd episode of but never got into it.

Anyone watch The 4400? I've seen the first 2 seasons and have the rest on DVD just waiting for me to get some time to watch. Heh... Story of my life, really. I finally stopped collecting shows because I never had time to watch them. Maybe when the kids are older. Smile

Yup, I have all the seasons of the 4400 and really like that too. I like most sf type of movies as well as the paranormal and psychological type movies.

I got started on the original trek series and when it cancelled, after some early 70's reruns Who was all there was. Battle Star w/ Loren Green was tolerable, the short Space 1999 was good while it lasted. Star Wars and nothing really good til Terminator... nothing note worthy really till 4-6 Star Wars, Matrix and Lord or the Rings... if it weren't for Who reruns in the 80's and early 90's I would have died of thirst... but then the Doc was back and all was well.
Anyone know the name of a movie , B & w, alien craft found in the ground in england... the end of the movie had the best black-n-white film creature/alien I ever saw.. ?? I don't know myself.
What shows, movies or books got everyone else going? Robert Heinlien books? Asimov? AVP...grin.??
