All About Chris
A Minneapolis resident for about 27 years, I recently returned from 2 years living in Stuttgart, Germany. I love the driftless area and the coulees, and often daydream about buying a small piece of land (big enough for a wind generator and generous garden) and building my dream home on it.
Green living, organic food, buying local, farmers markets, alternative energy, etc.

We didn't see any snow at all last season until January 23, when we suddenly got 10 inches. We had a few light snow falls after that, but we had crocuses coming up in February even. All in all, it was a long autumn in 2006, very mild and winter was just a few days long it seemed. Read more »
