What are you (yes, YOU) doing right now?
Twitter style... What are you doing now? Remember, you don't need to be logged in to post. So just do it. Tell us what you're doing.
I just finished eating some really salty chips and salsa and watching Arthur with the toddler and am about to go play with the kids.
You?
Michelle

Me?
I'm wondering what I'm going to make for dinner, probably nothing spectacular, and noticing that it says there's 20-something guests online. That's the most I've seen so far.
lol
Same here. Just peeking in quick before I face the kitchen.
Not sure what's up with all the visitors lately... I don't know if they're real people or bots. I saw over 50 at one point.
So... Supper... I guess I'd better figure that out.
Michelle
AHHH! My body is saying to me, "No more walking for you. EVER!" Just got back from walking around town... got a little more than five miles in and that's probably the most I've done in any one day.... in all my life. lol... kinda sad, but hey, I'm in no shape to walk for hours at a time!
So yah. Blisters, possibly sunburned face, sore muscles... yum. But at least I got to spit into the Mississippi. That's something everyone should do at some point in their life. Odd satisfaction.
5 miles is impressive! I used to be able to do about 3 but I'm too far out of shape now. Once around our block with the cul-de-sacs is just under a mile and that's enough for me.
I don't believe I've ever spit into the Mississippi... I'm not much of a spitter.
Make sure you stretch!
Michelle
lol, I'm not a spitter either. It took two tries for me.
But it's kinda fun watching it fall... that's a long drop, hehe
Heh... Where did you spit from? The bridge?
Heading off to bed. Night.
Michelle
Well had a great weekend. Walked 7.14 miles in the rain on Saturday and 4 more on Sunday!!!! I am relaxing right now until I have to get up and finish putting away clothes!! Then I have to get ready for another busy Monday: lesson plans to do and create my menu.
Jessica
7.14 miles? In the rain?! I think she's got you beat, Crystal.
I'm just hanging out right now. I really should be programming but it's been a long day and I'm beat. So futzing around online instead.
I really wish I knew what was going on with the avatars on this site... Seems like half of us have working ones. Bizarre.
Michelle
Aww... now if it was raining I could totally have done 7 miles, lol. I love walking in the rain. :D And yeah... it was the bridge I was spitting from.
In the spirit of the topic I'm posting in... right now I'm listing to Pandora radio and waiting for a phone call.
Late night phone call... Everyone I talk to is in bed by now.
Me, I'm doing a last peek at all the sites I watch while barely keeping my eyes open. The dishes will have to wait until morning. I'm heading off to bed. Have a good night everyone!
Michelle
Yaaaaa
aaaaawn.
Wow... why am I so tired? Curiouser and curiouser.
WELL. Tomorrow I have my fourth or fifth interview with Payless. Hoping it goes well, but, I mean... why would they waste so much time on someone they didn't want to hire, right? That's my view. Eternally optimistic. :D
Fourth or fifth?! Wow, they sure are thorough! I agree with you, though. Why would they bother if they weren't interested?
Good luck!
Michelle
Gracias... had the interview this morning. I think it went well, but would you believe there's yet another step to the hiring process? A phone interview with the district manager. That's a little intimidating, but I can handle it. Plus I can do it in my jammies!
lol
So I guess the bottom line here is that if you want to work for payless, plan on holding your present job for a while because it takes a year to get hired.
Just have to hope this is all worth it, hm?
Wow, that's a lot of hiring process... Are you applying to manage a store or something? If that's to sell shoes, that's insane!
Good luck with the phone interview!
For my psuedo-twitter... Just got home from camera club and am catching up on stuff before bed.
Michelle
Yep. All it is is selling shoes. lol... pretty crazy stuff.
Right now I ammm... waiting for the house to clear out so I can have some quality singing time all by me onesey.
Good fun.
Wow... That is crazy.
The interviews, I mean, not the singing.
I'm gonna finish up a few things and head to bed. Have a good night.
MIchelle
Once again waiting for a phone call... finishing dinner (woohoo for freezer pizza!) and answering questions on ChaCha. Life is good!
What's a ChaCha?
We had pork chops here. Hooray for steam in the bag veggies.
I love just tossing a bag in the microwave. Don't even need a bowl. How lazy is that? LOL
Michelle
lol... I like it. "What's a ChaCha?" *giggles*
http://www.chacha.com
It's a free service where you can text questions from your cell phone (at 242242) to the site and "guides" answer the questions... it's a pretty nifty thing. Kinda fun. Plus, if I really wanted to, I could be getting paid to do it. But as is, I've only racked up like $30 on it.
...
Ah, that leaves me out... Let me introduce myself... I'm the last person on Earth without a cell phone.
Sounds interesting, though!
Michelle
Actually, you don't really need a cell phone. You can use it from their site as well if you made an account, it's just that the cell phone thing is a major selling point because it makes the service ridiculously convenient.
lol
Let's see... right now I really ought to be cleaning... or doing something else productive, but... naaaah.
I am watching the Sunday morning news shows and searching for good Drupal forum solutions... that is how got here. The Advanced Forums seem to be a good solution.
Brad
Hello, Brad. Anything good in the news? Advforum is getting there... Currently driving me batty, but getting there.
Michelle
Oooo... look who's back.
I got back from the s/e corner of the state a couple days ago and have been fighting a serious cold since then. Grr. What have you been up to?
Hey, welcome back!
We got back a while ago... Evening of Memorial Day. Since then I've been trying to catch up on all my programming projects and organizing a neighborhood directory & rummage sale. And, of course, taking care of the kids. Been pretty busy as usual.
Sorry to hear about your cold.
How was your trip?
Michelle
My trip was pretty fantastic... the wedding was beautiful... I got to see my relatives and close friends... And close friend's relatives.

My cold is clearing up right on time, even though I did go out in the rain today. Smooth move, hm? lol... but it was warm, so I figured it was safe. But I'll be well in time for my date this weekend and the interviews next week. Weehew! lol
Oh! And I like the new thumbs... with the crow and everything... yeah... very nice.
Sounds like a great time. I love getting together with relatives. I know a lot of people dread trips like that but I don't get to see my family much.
Don't worry about the rain. Viruses don't care about the weather. If you get a bad chill you could weaken your immune system, I suppose, but, other than that, it's really not going to matter.
Yes, the avatars are finally working properly (except for the guestbooks, which use a totally different system
) We got a new user and he was asking how to upload a photo and I didn't want to explain to him that it wasn't working so I decided my other work could wait a bit and I took some time and fixed them. Hehe. I think that's maybe what I need to start doing. Stop getting overwhelmed about all there is to do around here and just take a little time here and there and fix one small thing.
Michelle
PS: Yours will look better if you upload a new one that's at least 200x200 and square.
HI.... so right now it's Springlike but a bit chilly outside (in sunny Surrey, just south of London UK) and I'm playing with another Drupal website from my office in the garage next to the house (it's a family one for us to put our photos online if your interested). I've just eaten a cheese and pickle sandwhich and am swigging on a glass of Volvic to wash it down.
Kids are at school, missus is out shopping and the dogs (Bailey and Grey - 2 English Springer spaniels) are asleep under the desk. Radio is playing some very laid back Ibiza Club tunes and everything is particularly chilled over here.
Thats my *what Im doing right now*
Cheers, Nick (aka Finkpad)
Sounds cold but peaceful. I'm struggling to keep the baby on my lap so I can use the computer just a little bit longer. Cheese and pickles? Oh my...
Ok, failing at keeping the baby happy. Time to go play with the kids.
Michelle
Hi Michele - quick techy question... what text editor is this? I've been using FCKEDITOR Drupal module for most sites but this one seems much slimmer and quicker.... I might have a little play...
