Stacey

Hi! I'm Stacey. I'll be turning 29 this December (for the first time lol). I live in Holmen & just found this website tonight. I love reading, mostly fantasy & romance novels. I also enjoy photography although I know nothing about it. I am trying to motivate myself to start exercising. I kinda need it. I've been working at my office job for 2 years and have just accepted a full time position there. I guess thats enough for now. Feel free to chat me up.

Hello!

I moved your introduction to its own post. We've got a whole forum here for introductions so no need to tack on to my old post. You're more likely to get noticed here on a fresh one. Smile

I love photography and do know a bit about it, though I'm still quite an amateur. If you'd like to learn more, the camera club meets down in La Crosse twice a month starting in September.

I just joined the Y to start excercising. I love it because I can drop the kids off in thier childcare and get a couple hours to myself. Unfortunately, they have a cold, now, so I haven't been able to go since last week. Sad

Welcome to the site. I hope we'll here more from you. Smile

Thanks Michelle! I hope your kids feel better soon! Is the Y very expensive? I love the idea of something like that but think it would be a lot more fun going with someone. Smile

We're paying $65 per month for the family membership. That's not pocket change by any means but well worth it. I plan to go at least 3 times a week so that's 20+ hours of child care a month. That alone is worth the price. Wink Really it's just great for me to be able to go and get some exercise and not have to worry about the kids. I don't go with anyone at the moment but I take my MP3 player and listen to Doctor Who audio books and it makes the time go by quick.

Hello again to you Michelle and Hello and welcome to Stacy. I haven't been on in a long while, but saw someone new was here!!! I know the Y does scholarships, so if you have a low income or a lot of bills, you can get a cheaper membership. I would apply and see what happens. I would love to bring my little guy to the Daycare, but he screams bloody murder every time I even try to leave him there. He likes it there as long as I'm sitting where he can see me... but as soon as I'm out of sight... just forget it...lol.

Awww, that's too bad. Sad Josh has been handling it so-so. They say he cries a bit when I'm gone but seems to be ok as long as someone is holding him. He's 13 months, though, and not into the stranger anxiety too much. I'm hoping that he'll be used to the place so he'll keep going when that hits.

Hopefully your little one will grow out of it. The Y is soooo worth it.

Michelle

I'll just keep bringing him and sooner or later I'm sure he'll be all right with staying on his own. I love it at the Y

Welcome Stacy. It looks like we have a few things in common. I like the same kind of books and photography. I'm an amateur too but I did old fashion photography with a dark room, chemicals... I took it in High School and College and got A's both times. The instructor in college thought I'd be a great Graphic Designer. He told me that when I was 1 semester from graduating with a degree in Early Childhood.
