Looking for drop in day care in Holmen or Onalaska

I had hoped as my kids get older that I'd have more time to work with them around because they'd be able to play together. But, if anything, it's gotten harder to work with them around. I really want to pick up more freelance work but I need someone else to watch the kids for that to work. I don't want to put them in daycare full time, though. I'd just like to get a 3 hour chunk of time 2 - 3 days a week. The thing is that I want this to be flexible so I can work around MOMS Club events. Does day care like that exist? Anyone have any recomendations? I'd prefer Holmen but Onalaska would be ok, too. La Crosse only as a last resort. I don't want to spend half the time driving back and forth.

Thanks,

Michelle

As a Daycare Provider I do have to say that this is not going to be easy to find, but it's not impossible. I for one do not want full-time kids besides the ones I have, but wouldn't mind an occasional child here and there. However, I'm on the south side of La Crosse and am not open on Tuesdays. I also do not open until 930 am. Just go to Family resources and ask for a list.. then start calling the people on the list.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I actually heard from someone who is able to take them part time as long as we can set the schedule a few weeks in advance. I just emailed her back to set up a time for me to come over and check the place out. It's short term as she's moving later this Fall but it'll be a good test to see how this works. The trick will be getting enough freelance work to cover the cost of the daycare without getting too overwhelmed with work to not have enough day care hours to do it.
