Kornfest Medallion found

Ok, I'm a bit late on this, but I never claimed to be a news source. Wink

This article about the Kornfest Medallion just came up in my Google alerts:

Shelly LaPlount and her two children, 4-year-old Brooke and 8-year-old Charlie, found the 2008 Kornfest Medallion last week and plan to spend their winnings at the Kornfest this weekend. They found the medallion on Wednesday after the third of eight clues was posted.

I didn't pay any attention to the name of who found it at first since I never know people in news articles but about half way through the lightbulb suddenly went on. I looked at the name again and thought, "I know her." Laugh Shelly has been in MOMS Club here in Holmen for a long time. Longer than me, I'm pretty sure. So I wanted to say "Congratulations!" to her and her family. Now if I can just get her to come here and read it... Wink
