OfflineHello, all, my name is Michelle and I'm your host here at Coulee Region ONLINE. I'm a stay at home mom to a 2 year old boy and have another boy on the way. Website building is a hobby that I hope to make some money at once my kids are in school. In the mean time, I work at it here and there when my toddler gives me a little computer time. 
Besides websites, I'm big into photography and am a member of the La Crosse Area Camera Club. I started out mostly doing nature but have switched to portraiture, mostly of my son, since he was born and getting away to shoot outside got more difficult. Shooting a toddler is quite a bit different than shooting a flower but it's still a lot of fun.
I also really enjoy reading when I get a chance with science fiction and fantasy being my favorites. I'm not big into TV, but there are a few shows I really like, especially Doctor Who. Doctor Who just started up the 3rd season of the new series. Yay! If any of you are into Doctor Who, I'd _love_ to hear from you. I think it would be cool to start up a local fan club or something.
So there I am... Computer geek, photography nut, sci-fi fan, and mommy.

I live in a little village in Jefferson County ~ Rome WI. The same Rome WI that was filmed for the opening credits of Picket Fences. Our little corner store is.................. you guessed it, Pickets.
I am a state licensed wildlife rehabber. In 2002 I became a state certified humane officer (not presently place with the state, no job openings). I also run my own private resue for animals and I run a Professional Pet Sitting Service where I can either come to your house or you to mine.

I've heard of Picket Fences but I've never seen it. I didn't realize it was filmed in Wisconsin.
It sounds like you really love animals. The pictures on your site are great. I've been trying to figure out what the picture in your avatar is, though, and I can't figure it out.

LOL!!! It's a picture of my skunks...........butt.................LOL skunk owners LOVE butt shots only because it shows off their beautiful tail fans.
Just the opening scene was filmed here in Rome. The story took place some where else, I forget...... My friend clothes line make a shot in the opening scene (while that theme song is playing before the show actually starts....) and my friends front porch made it in as well! LOL
