I was interviewed at the La Crosse Interstate fair by WKBT

I got to be on the 6pm news. Smile I don't see the video on the web. I hope they put it up since I didn't tape it. There's a text article which is basically the transcript up there now. Funny how they said I have "money left over". I do, of course, but I never said that. For all they know I could have used my last penny. Tongue

I was horribly nervous, not to mention they caught me in the middle of eating so I was worried about whether I had food on my face. Uneasy But it was still pretty cool being on TV.

Hah! So that's what you look like... Smile-Big hehehe... Prettier than I was thinking actually. Probably because you don't describe yourself as a fair maiden or anything... But... anyway. How was the fair? Smile-Big lol And how are you in general?

Awww, *blush*. I just feel fat when I watch that. Uneasy

The fair was pretty cool. I'm hoping to do a writup about it for the site but have been really swamped this last week. (Yes, I always say that, but this was really, really swamped) I've got a project that I've got to get done tomorrow and that will ease up the stress a bit. Laugh Then maybe I can take a bit of time for this site.

How have you been? How's the job going?

*sigh* I need to put up a sticky note or something to remind me to come here more than once every three weeks, lol... the new firefox has messed up my reminders by putting the most visited sites in the address bar rather than the most recently typed. And since it's not there, it slips my mind. *shrug* Smile But I've been alright. my job is starting to get to me, but that's only because I'm fresh on the phones so I'm not used to dealing with the people yet. I understand why it's a real accomplishment to last a year here. lol... Aside from that, it looks like I'll be hanging around La Crosse a while longer. If everything goes through I'll be moving into a house with some roommates... Nice people, I met them Saturday when I checked out the house.
I read some of your other posts as well, including the one where you were you were wondering if your whole vision for this site was unreasonable... It's not. I think as long as you get the word out enough, people will start showing up and signing up and everything. Just keep working. Smile Now hopefully I'll remember to come back here in the next couple of days and check your response, lol...

I was thinking of emailing you but I didn't want to be annoying with emailing you every time you stop posting. Wink

Thanks for your support, again. This site is an emotional rollercoaster. I get all manic and excited about it and obsess about getting it all done one day and the next I get depressed because no one is using it and want to just say forget it. Bit nuts, I guess. Uneasy

Good luck with the job. I could never handle phone support. I don't envy you. I'll stick to dealing with code.

Honestly, if you notice I haven't come around for a while, go ahead and email me! lol... I don't stop visiting because I don't care or because I'm too busy... it just tends to slip my mind. Smile

Ok, will do. Smile

You know, you could always just make this your home page... Wink Hehe. Actually, at some point that won't be a bad idea. There's a module I want to install that will give everyone a customizable page where they can put feeds and stuff that interest them on it and that would make a good home page. But it's not a simple module and I want to wait until I have time to do a good job of it and not just slap it up here.

Glad to have you back. Now don't go away again. :P

Curious... What email did you get? Was it something from the site? I've got a lot of modules installed and lose track sometimes.

Ah, yeah. I'm not really sure how that works. It might stop sending them until you visit so you don't get flooded with emails.
