How did you find us?

This is something I've been meaning to add to the registration page but haven't had time. In the mean time, I'll put it here. I'm curious how you folks found out about this place. So far it's just word of mouth & search engines as I haven't done any advertising. I know how some of you got here but not all of you. So, share. Smile

@Roadangel - That's because I found you Smile

Around a year or so ago I got desperate to get this site moving and went on Myspace looking for local people. I didn't want to just blanket spam or anything like that so I looked through about a hundred profiles and picked 10 people that sounded interesting. You were one of the 10 I emailed and I think the only one that responded. I haven't tried it again since I've talked to people since then who say even that little bit is spamming. Uneasy I don't really agree but I don't want to piss anyone off. Glad I did it the first time, though, because it brought you here and your family, too. Smile

Well, I'm glad you did too!!! I wouldn't have considered that spamming. You could just meet people first and then let them know you have this site...

Yeah, true. The trouble is I really don't like MySpace. LOL Seriously, going through all those pages was hard on the eyes. I admit I did sign up with the intent of finding Coulee Region people. Wink Ah, well, some good came of it but I don't plan on doing it again. I'm just going to keep working on improving the site and not worry to much about how fast it grows. We'll get there eventually. Smile

Twitter is pretty cool. I plan to eventually put the feed of Coulee Region folks on the site but the last time I tried it I kept running into dead ends. I'll give it another try at some point.

Welcome aboard. Smile
