I'm trying to recruit people but my friends are busy just like us. I useto be a part of a Yuku group and a Womens Haven group. It was hard keeping the board interesting enough to keep people posting.
Yeah, it is really hard to keep things going, especially with such a general forum like this. I try to make a point to respond to every post if I can think of something to say but coming up with new posts all the time is hard. I'm always so happy when I see someone else start a topic. We've got a good group here but we could use more people to keep things fresh or we're going to get bored with just the 5 or so of us.
If we keep posting, I think we'll eventually get more. Especially if you advertise it. I'm making a point of forwarding the site to people I know and would hope everyone else does the same.
I added the "share this" link but I can't get it to work for me in either Opera or IE 7. It works in Firefox. I don't know if it's broken for everyone... I left it turned on for now.
Still working on advertising. Printing out the flyers is going to be a little expensive but I've been doing a bit of paid programming so I can dip into that. I just need time to work on them. I have a few ideas of ones I want to do... Just need to sit down and do them.

It's funny because I have OCD and threads going off topic make me all nervous. But I'm trying real hard to just go with the flow of the conversation whereever it takes us. The last thing I want to do is stifle conversation around here. LOL So I just remind myself that the world really won't end if threads meander.
With how few members there are, only welcoming me wouldn't have been so long.
LOL! Yeah, that's true. We've got a good core group, though. If I can just keep you folks from drifting away and grab some more folks, maybe we can make a snowball.
