Fisher Price has recalled a number of their toys. These toys were made in China. The paint that China used to paint the toys has a large amount of lead in it.

Go to www.fisherprice.com to see the list.

Thanks for letting us know about this. We have one toy on the list, but we bought it a long time ago, so I guess it's ok. Good thing this didn't happen during the Christmas season. We don't buy a lot of toys between May and August. Smile

Here's a couple more direct links since their site is so slow:

I don't own any of these toys, but my son might've bought something off that list for my grandson, since he liked Elmo so much.

This is interesting reading. Looks like another toy recall.

Here is the write up about the toy recall. We will have to look at our toys since it is polly pockets and barbies. http://www.wisn.com/family/13884773/detail.html?treets=mil&tml=mil_natlb...

I just heard this on the radio. Thanks for the posting. No polly pockets or barbies here but I'll have a look and see what else is on there.

Is it just my computer or oes that list have no pictures. I'd rather do a quick scan with pics. I know what the toys look like, not what they are called sometimes. This lead paint thing is rediculas. No wonder getting toys made there is cheaper.

Not just your computer. A list with pictures would be really nice. Most of the toys we have came from rummage sales. I don't even know half of what we have but I would probably recognize them from pictures.
