I was just posting about the IE problem and I noticed the join date on my user info: March 17, 2007. A year ago. March 30 is when I flipped the switch and started out this "public beta". The idea was to have the site live while I worked on it so I could start building up a community. I hoped to have an offical launch a few months later, before my second child was born. Then that turned into aiming for Fall of 2007. Then I got my hopes up for January 1, 2008 just to have reality hit again.
My latest hope was March 30 so I could do it on the one year anniversary. Well, that's not likely to happen. Too much to do.
So here we are heading into another year of the "public beta". I've stopped setting dates. We'll get there when we get there. In the mean time, the forums work so let's chat.
What should we do to celebrate March 30?
Michelle

Well, first things first, Michelle, your site is awesome, beta or not, so HAPPY BETA ANNIVERSARY!
Second, today's another kind of celebration, too, so HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
Now the matter of what to do to celebrate.... I've got nothing. Ummm... We could read the dictionary over tea and cookies...
Oooooooooooo! I just noticed the comment preview! I lovelovelove it!
Awww, you're so sweet.
Yeah, I like that comment preview, too. It only works on comments, though, not the original post. Hopefully they'll add that in eventually.
Will have to think on the celebrating thing. Maybe I can come up with a cool new feature to install on the 30th.
Man, those broken editor buttons are bugging me. Gonna see if I can fix that before I head off to bed. LOL
Michelle
Ooo, you fixed the buttons! Cool!
Yeah... but what kind of feature would count as a celebration... hmmm...
I have an idea for that...
I've got a pretty big change coming up but not sure of the timing. Part of it got done today but there's another big part that needs doing. So we'll see.
Michelle
Ooooo... sounds exciting! *shakes with anticipation*
~Why the devil? Just because it's unique.
