I decided to take a break from all the things I should be doing and work on this site a bit. Last night and a bit today I spent tweaking the front page of the site. There are a few effects on the theme elsewhere but it's mostly the front page. I think it looks cleaner and more professional, now. I want to thank the Drupal themer folks who lent me their designer eye to help get it into better shape. There still are some theme issues here and there on the site but, overall, I think it's looking pretty good.

I need to get back to those "should be doing" things again for a while but I am going to try and work in time for this site here and there and keep molding it into shape. The next thing in my sights is the area directory. I had planned some huge changes but I've decided to wait on those a while and get what I have now working better. There's some big things coming with the software I'm using that will affect how I do that section but they are a ways off and I want something that works now.

Another important thing for me is the community pages. Each community should have its own page with general information as well as listings of site content related to that community. I think that's an important piece to get in place and will focus on that along with the area directory.

I'm not going to predict any farther than that because those two will take me a while. But I've still got a lot of ideas for things I want to add and there's some exciting features coming up in the year(s) ahead. I hope everyone enjoys the site. Don't forget to jump in and post!
