Do you love to argue?
I've been on quite a few forums in my time and one thing I've noticed that really gets conversations going are lively debates. We have a debates and hot topics section in the forums but it doesn't get much use. One problem is that it's mostly me starting the topics off around here and I'm a horrible debater. I may weigh in here and there but I cave pretty easy in debates.
So I'm putting out the call. If you love to debate, why not start up some topics and defend your position? Doesn't have to be about the Coulee Region, though local politics are always a good one to get people talking. What do you feel passionate about? Write it up and let's chat!

I don't like to argue, but I do have a strong believe in a lot of things and I do voice my opinion if appropriate.
Yeah, argue wasn't a good word for it. "Debate" maybe is better. I'm just not very good at holding my own in a debate. I waffle too easily and have a thin skin. But I know a good debate can really get a forum moving so I thought I'd invite people with a thicker skin than me to step up and stir up some passions and get some good discussions going. I'll probably respond to some but don't be surprised if I get quiet if it gets too heated. I'm more of a debate watcher than a debater.

Anybody here like Bush? I'd love to have a "debate" with someone who likes this ..mhhh...mon...ahh I mean MAN.
Sorry, not a Bush fan here. I'm looking forward to a change... Hopefully we won't end up with a pseudo 3rd term.

I agree with Roadangel. I too prefer not to argue unless I have a strong opinion. I'm not a Bush fan either. I voted for Kerry in 2004.
Yeah, McBush needs to stay out.. I agree!
