Winter, ugh

Snowy Onalasa road
I am so not a Winter person. If I could afford it, I'd be a snowbird. I love the Coulee Region from April thru October but the cold and snow I can do without. Maybe a little snow from December 23rd to 26th for Christmas. Smile So how crazy was it to be out in it this morning? Well, the last I'd heard, the icky weather wasn't coming until afternoon so I thought we'd get out and do the shopping we needed to do before it hit. But, by the time we all got ready to go in late morning, it was already coming down pretty hard. Luckily my husband was driving as he's better at driving in that mess than I am. It was still nerve wracking, though.

That's it for us, though. We're staying in the rest of the weekend other than shovelling. Antother totally unfun thing about snow. After lugging out all the snow the plows deposited in our driveway and in front of the mailbox, I've decided we're getting a blower before the next storm hits.

So, anyone else around here in the snow hater's club with me? Smile

Michelle
