Kornfest 2007

Holmen's 44th annual Kornfest offers food and entertainment for the whole family. The bulk of the fest is behind the American Legion in Halfway Creek park with some activities elsewhere in the town. The schedule below was taken from one of the posters, which are available at the American Legion.

Friday, August 17th

• 6pm Sandwich tent opens
• 6pm - 12am Beer garden open
• 6pm - 1am Carnival
• 8pm - 12am Trouble Shooter
• 9pm Fireworks - Viking Field. Bring your own chairs.

No chicken or corn on Friday

Saturday, August 18th

• 8am (entry 7am) St Elizabeth 10K & 2 mile Fun Run
• 9am Volleyball tournament (Class B)
• 11am Kornfest Parade
• 12pm Food serving starts - Chicken, pork sandwiches, bar-b-ques, hot dogs, soft drinks & chips, brats from Holmen Locker, batterfried cheese curds, and, of course, corn ($.50 an ear)
• 1pm YMCA dance team
• 1pm Bingo
• 3pm - 6pm Karaoke for kids
• 8pm - 12am Double take

Sunday, August 19th

• 7am - 11am St Elizabeth Breakfast (Eggs & sausage * Biscuits & gravy)
• 11am Food serving starts
• 12pm Phil Wall Classic Horseshoe Tournament
• 2pm - 5:30pm Troubleshooter
• 6:30pm Little Texas
• Car show swap meet - Middle school grounds

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Men's and women's softball tournaments at Deerwood Park
