This is a large park in the heart of Holmen. There are two (that I know of) entrances. To get to the part of the park near the bathrooms, turn onto W Roberts street off of Main Street (behind the American Legion) follow that down into the park. If the playground area is your goal, you're better off turning onto Walnut drive, which is a small dead end street alongside Holmen Square on highway 35. There is a parking area at the end of the street right near the playground.
So far, I have only visited the playground part, so the summary as well as the photos are from there. You can find more photos as well as a map on Holmen's website, which is linked to below. The website's description is: "Log Rollers, 3 Open Shelters, Picnic Areas, 2 Enclosed Shelters (rentable), Horseshoe Pits, Volleyball Court, Restrooms, Bridge and Creek, Very Scenic"
The playground area has a climbing structure with two slides and a swing set with four regular swings. Unfortunately, it does not have any baby swings. There is a picnic table for seating and lots of trees for shade.
This page will be updated when I've had a chance to visit and document the rest of the park.
