It can get bad some days. We live in a smaller area, only about 100K people in the whole Coulee Region, I believe, so it's not as bad as it would be in a big city. Sunday mornings aren't bad and that's when we normally go. I do love the selection they have there. When we visit Sheboygan, we go to Pick 'n Save and it seems sooooo tiny even though it's a good sized store. We have a tiny Festival here in Holmen that I pick odds and ends up at sometimes and that's really hard. I can't imagine doing all my shopping there. I just like a lot of choices, I guess.
Our usual routine is to go to Woodmans for the stuff that "keeps" and Festival for the fresher stuff. Woodmans stuff sits longer, I think. I've gotten too much bad stuff when I buy perishables there. It's a pain going to two stores but it keeps the cost down to do the bulk at Woodmans.
