A couple of other places (not as inexpensive, though) are the YMCA in La Crosse, which has a Family Fun Center. I'm not sure what day passes cost, but it's an easy option for members. It has a structure similar to ToysRUs, plus some smaller things and a bunch of those big soft blocks (?) to climb on. Of course, both of the Y's have pools (with a slide in Onalaska), but hours vary; and you can get day passes to use the pool at the Midway Best Western.
